The lab: one box, ten ways in

This training scenario begins on the last day of a fictional pentest engagement: one isolated target, many doors. Your target uses Metasploitable2, a deliberately vulnerable training system, provided as a private Cover6 lab for authorized practice.

Use only the Kali workspace and target supplied for this course. Do not scan, probe, or attempt to access any system outside the stated Cover6 lab.

Completion and certificate

Finish the course and pass the final quiz (70%) to earn your First Shell certificate: Penetration Tester, Level I, with 2.5 CPE hours. Anyone can check it at cover6solutions.com/verify. First Shell is aligned with DoD 8140 work role 541, Vulnerability Assessment Analyst.
