Yes. The Cover6 Community is completely free to join. Attend meetups, connect with other cybersecurity professionals, and access community resources at no cost. Cover6 Academy offers both free courses and paid certification prep — you choose what fits your goals.
Do I need experience in cybersecurity to join?
Not at all. Whether you’re exploring cybersecurity for the first time or you’re a seasoned professional, this community is built for every level. Our events and training range from beginner-friendly to advanced cert prep.
What’s the difference between free and paid content?
Free content includes community meetups, networking events, and select introductory courses like Breaking Into Cyber. Paid content includes certification practice exams (Security+, CISSP, CEH, CySA+, and more), full prep courses, and career-focused bundles — all available individually through Cover6 Academy.
What are the events like?
Our events include hands-on workshops, expert panels, career development sessions, and networking meetups. Our monthly Meet & Greet is held in-person in the DC metro area (last Thursday of every month), with virtual events running throughout the year. All skill levels are welcome.
