Breaking Into Cyber 2026: Your Roadmap to a Cybersecurity Career

This section runs from 20:33 to 22:36 in the full video above, with deep dives into specific Claude features from 36:30 to 38:40 and ethical resume considerations from 40:29 to 41:24. Feel free to watch now or let it play through to the next topic.

This is new for 2026, and I need you to pay attention because this changes everything.

I’m going to be specific: Claude AI. Go to claude.ai. Download the desktop version. Look into two features specifically — the Cowork capability and the Chrome extension.

Here’s what Claude can do for you right now:

Resume rewriting: Give Claude your resume and the job description you’re targeting. It will rewrite your resume tailored to that position. Done. “Don’t even bother me with this menial task” — that’s the energy.

LinkedIn profile optimization: Tell Claude the position you want to have in the future. Then tell it to review all of your social media platforms and make recommendations. With the Chrome extension, it can go do it for you. You can go grab coffee and watch a YouTube video on the side.

Daily study plans: Tell Claude, “Every day, give me a new lesson. Start from scratch to help me become a good system administrator.” Every day it’ll give you a new task. That’s your personal tutor.

Meeting transcripts, email management, documentation — all of it. Too easy.

Vibe coding: Have an idea for an app or a tool? Claude can build it. You could have an app started in the time it takes to watch this lesson. That’s not an exaggeration.

I’ll be direct: AI is going to get a lot of people fired. That’s the reality. There are things that AI can do right now — documentation, branding, research, analysis — that used to take an entire team. The cost? $20 a month to sit next to the smartest person in the world and have them work for you nonstop.

Be on the right side of this shift. Don’t fight AI. Use it. Start your own company. Start your own help desk business. Create a website in six minutes. The possibilities are endless for you right now.

But here’s the important part: if AI writes your resume, make sure you can stand by everything on it. Hiring managers know how to weed through the truth during an interview. Don’t put anything on your resume that you can’t speak to.

What you’ll take away:

  • Claude AI can rewrite resumes, optimize LinkedIn profiles, and create daily study plans
  • Use AI for documentation, branding, research — tasks that used to require teams
  • With Cowork and Chrome extension, Claude can actively help you build your professional brand
  • Be ethical: don’t claim skills you don’t have on your resume — hiring managers will catch it in interviews

Something to think about:

How could you use AI to automate your daily learning or professional branding tasks right now? What’s one small experiment you could run this week?
