Our Founder and President, Tyrone E. Wilson, has always been passionate about helping others. His 20+ years of service in the Army have allowed him to serve in some of the world’s most dynamic network security environments. The connections made along the way have allowed Cover6 to become well-established in the tech community and to create a powerful and effective platform to improve lives through education in cyber.
In January 2012, we laid the foundation for The D.C. Cyber Security Professionals meetup group. Under Wilson’s visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to education, the group rapidly gained traction. Today, with a thriving community of over 10,000 members, we take immense pride in spearheading the nation’s premier #Cybersecurity meetup. This platform enables us to engage with the community, identify emerging talent, and offer mentorship to our members.
