The DC Metro Area Chapter (CSA-DC) of the Cloud Security Alliance is pleased to invite you to our meetup! This is a fantastic opportunity to network with DC Metro Area thought leaders and learn more about our mission.
Our region includes a diverse range of businesses, government organizations and academic institutions as well as many heavily regulated industries such as the U.S. Government, Healthcare and Financial sector. Our mission is to help the local IT community (you) succeed. This includes having appropriate influence on policy around IT Security Regulations and Privacy via position papers. We will also help our community network and share lessons learned by developing collaborative guidance for IT Modernization incorporating security-by design. About our speakers:
Mark McIntyre is a Chief Security Advisor in Microsoft’s Cybersecurity Solutions Group. Mark works with the US government, NATO, allied governments, and the larger defense contractor ecosystem, helping them transform their missions and businesses while moving securely to the Cloud. Mark supports CISOs and their teams with cybersecurity reviews and helps them understand Microsoft’s perspectives on the evolving cyber threat landscape and how Microsoft defends its enterprise, employees and users around the world. Mark is based in Redmond, WA.
Bob Osborn is Chief Technology Officer for Federal at ServiceNow. Bob is an accomplished senior executive who has held many high level IT leadership position, including Director of Logistics IT for the U.S. Army G4, Deputy J6/CIO for U.S. Transportation Command, Deputy CIO at the Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and the CIO of the National Nuclear Security Administration. He has led major IT and organizational transformation throughout his career and is a thought leader recognized across the public sector market.
