Building Serverless Applications in the Azure Cloud by Metrolink Networks’
February 27 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
In this session, attendees will gain an understanding of how to design and deploy web applications in the cloud, without the use of servers. First, we’ll discuss the traditional method of building application infrastructure in a data center. Next, we’ll contrast this with how we deploy a similar app in the cloud, leveraging Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings, and explain the benefits of running “serverless”. Lastly, we’ll dive into a live demo where we stand up a real-world serverless application in the Azure cloud. The session will be interactive and will allow for attendees to ask questions and gain insights throughout.
